Golight Stryker Bulb Replacement

I decided to replace the bulbs in my Golight Strykers with Toshiba HIR ( Halogen Infrared Reflecting ) 9011 bulbs. This bulb is supposed to produce more light than a comparable halogen bulb. I spent about $48.00 on 2 bulbs ordered them from an eBay seller.

The documentation for the Stryker has no information on how to replace the bulb so here are the steps that I followed.

1 – Power on the light but do not turn the bulb on.

2 – Tilt the light all the way up as show in the picture.

3 – Remove the 2 screws as indicated in the picture.

4 – After the screws are removed pop the bottom of the bezel off. If needed there is a slot for a screw driver.

5 – Tilt the light down as show in the following picture.

6 – Completely remove the bezel as show.

7 – The light will now pull out of the housing as show bellow.

8 – Remove and replace the bulb.

9 – Reinstall following the steps in reverse order. (Hint – As I tilted the light back up I held the bezel in place or it would pop off.)
