I had exactly the same problem with the neoprene cover I got with the fridge four days ago. Part of the problem was trying to stretch the neoprene to fit neatly resulted in too much pressure being placed on the adhesive and POP! I did use metho to clean the area, but I think I stupidly didn't let it dry completely as some of the velcro stuck and some didn't. Fridge hums too, which I found annoying. Anyone know why?

I had the same problem and redid my transit cover using new Velcro. Before I applied the Velcro to the fridge I cleaned the area with a solvent. The velcro is now very well adhered to the plastic.

I have the new ARB 57 Litre fridge, and agree it is a good product. The only problem is that the transit bag does not stick to the fridge. The velcro sticky tape does not stick to the fridge plastic. I find that a very poorly thought out design.

Not sure you have fixed captions... The top one shows old and new fridge, but the captions read opposite.

For anyone else reading the new version is the blue one (ie all blue lid etc). I bought it yesterday based on all the reviews Id seen.

I am confused by your review.

Which one is the new model and which one is the old model?
I am serious, you have confused me with your photo labels.

In the first 2 photos (see above) you labeled them "new and old".
That made me think that the new model was on the left and the old model was on the right...since the word new is before the word old.
...then in the 3rd photo where you stacked them...now I have no clue which one is which...
...then in the 4th photo the silver one is on the left again and the blue one is on the right. So since the label says, "new and old models"...I figured the new one MUST be the silver one!

Then in the next several closeup photos of the controls...it looks like the new one MUST be the blue one.

Dude, maybe you know which one is which, but I have never seen either model before. Your photo labels are confusing me. I guess I will have to go to ARB's website to try to figure this out...

Note: This was not meant to be critical of the article. The article is great. I am just trying to offer constructive criticism regarding the photo labels. Maybe you could change the order of the models in the labels - or - add closeups of each model at the very beginning to make it VERY CLEAR which model is new and which model is the old one. Oh, there it is, the next to the last photo cleared it up. The blue one is the new one!
