Using the ARB Simpson III Rooftop Tent makes setting up camp a snap, taking very little time and effort.

For me the following steps work well to get the tent ready to be used:

• Undo the 3 Velcro straps
• Unzip and pull the cover back
• Lift my rack to the correct height
• Undo the 2 Velcro straps that hold the tent closed
• Extend the ladder (this gives added leverage to open the tent)
• Pull on the ladder, open the tent and place the ladder on the ground so the two parts of the tent platform are level
• Pull the awning out
• Climb in the tent
• Extend the adjustable pole and tighten the knobs
• Remove the elastic straps inside the tent

• Tighten Awning Pole (I use my foot to push the awning tight and then tighten the knob)
• Install the poles to hold the window awnings out
• Install the poles to hold the fly up
• Install the Annex (if using)

Once your bedding is in place you are ready for a great night’s rest.
