Bringing New Life to an Old MagCharger Flashlight

One of the first quality rechargeable flashlights was the Mag Charger from Mag-Instruments. I purchased my Mag Charger in 1980 and it has been in use since. However, the MagCharger uses outdated halogen technology while the best new flashlights use LEDs. TerraLUX has introduced a line of LED upgrades for flashlights with the MiniStar300MR-EX module as direct replacement for the MagCharger standard halogen bulb.

The MiniStar300MR-EX replaces the standard bulb with a microprocessor controlled three LED module that provides 700 Lumens of light and three brightness levels. The module provides a fixed focus beam and is built in the US of  quality components.

The module takes just a few minutes to install and is a fantastic upgrade to the Mag Charger. The output levels are selected by a momentary depression of the power button and the light remembers the last output level it was used on.

LED High Beam

I am very please with the performance of this new LED module. Add the module to a new Mag Charger system and for less that $200.00 you can have a super bright rechargeable LED flashlight that is brighter than most any other flashlight available.
