2010 FJ Cruiser Power Steering Reservoir Move

The 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser has a battery tray mount on the right fender. I chose to use this location for my second battery. I also will be installing a 1″ body lift which will stretch one of the PS hoses to much.

Right Fender Battery Tray Mount

Both these items required me to move the Power Steering Reservoir as well as lowering it 1″.

I utilized a section of “L” steel cut to fit where the existing bracket was. I cut the top section off the factory bracket and welded it to the section of “L” steel.

New Mount

Drilled and mounted this new bracket lowered the PS reservoir by 1″ and moved it off the battery tray mount.

New Mount Installed

Time for this mod was about 1 hour and the cost was minimal.
