I wanted to install a flashlight that would always be charged and ready to use. I selected the Streamlight Strion Rechargeable due to its size. The Strion does not use LED technology but has a 70 minute run time using Lithium Ion batteries and a Xenon bulb. Mounting the flashlight so it looked integrated was my goal. The first order of business was to modify the charger so the power lead comes out the rear of the charger, not the bottom.

With this complete the wire can be fed directly through the trim panel.

This provides a clean install where no wires are exposed.

The completed install is compact yet always at the ready.

I connected the charger to an accessory power fuse box that I installed for systems like this.
