All Pro Rock Sliders install

The parts from All Pro Off Road have started to filter in. They fabricate what I consider to be one of the best sliders out there for the Toyota FJ Cruiser. For this build I went with the Extreme Duty Rock Guard which is built from super strong DOM tubing.

Prior to painting I fully cleaned the sliders with a oil and wax cleaner. Once the sliders where dry I sprayed the sliders with black Rustolium Hammered.

Installation was a snap with an extra set of hands using the factory bolt locations on the frame.

Once installed I added Scotch anti slip tape to the top edge of the sliders for additional safety when using them as a step.

With the sliders installed the exterior of the FJ is starting to take shape.

Cost: Extreme Duty Rock Rails: $479.00
Time: 2.5 hours with painting

I have been contiplating these sliders from AllPro however the weight of 160lbs. concerns me. Are the set of two really 160lbs as stated on their website? Thank you in advance.

Heavy duty sliders are a very important addition to your rig if you are going to be off roading. They will need to be heavy if they are going to work. When you drop the slider on a rock while Wheeling the weight of that side of the FJ is on the slider.
