All Pro Front Bumper Installed

One of the items that I salvaged from the Blue Burro was my All Pro Off Road front bumper and EP-9000 Superwinch.

With the 1″ body lift installed I needed to modify the headlamp bracket to clear the All Pro Bumper. I cut the existing brackets off then welded  1/2″ square tube on to the existing bracket. Once installed the bracket bolted to the lamp bracket maintains a solid headlamp mount.

With the modified brackets installed I was able to bolt the bumper to the FJ using the existing mounting studs.

Wiring the winch took a little more time with the wires routed up to and along the top of the radiator.

I’ll complete the winch and driving lamp wiring at another time.

Cost:

  • Bumper: $799.00
  • Light Bar $129.00
  • Superwinch EP-9000 $575.00
  • Synthetic Winch Line:  $254.00

Time: 3.5 Hours (With bumper fully built up)

Tomas' father introduced him to the love of 4 wheeling at an early age in the high mountains around Aspen, Colorado. While an avid Mountain Biker, Tomas and his Family enjoy adventures in the mountains and desert in the remote locations that can only be reached by 4wd. Day hikes are always a must when on the family trips. While enjoying outdoor activities he wants to share his love as a certified 4wd trainer and ski instructor.
