All Pro Off Road Rear Bumper Installed

To help complete the finished look of our Toyota FJ Cruiser I installed an All Pro Off Road rear bumper. The stock rear bumper is a simple plastic skin and is pron to damage and the silver side caps tend to get knocked off.

The All Pro Bumper uses a minimal design which keep the weight down. The lines are very clean and the rear bumper adds a finished look. Unlike the front bumper, the rear bumper in mostly cosmetic so it does not need to be built out of heavy duty steel.

The All Pro bumper provides two recovery points that are in-line with the frame.

With our 1″ body lift I needed to remove the entire center section of the original plastic bumper.

To give the bumper a clean cosmetic look I used pond rubber to fill the space between the bumper and the body. The rubber is glued to the body and the bumper with contact cement.

Cost: $700.00

Time: 2.5 hours

Tomas has lived in Colorado since age 5. Having grown up on the Western Slope of Colorado lots of time was spent in the Desert Southwest. Tomas' father introduced him to the love of 4 wheeling at an early age in the high mountains around Aspen, Colorado. While an avid Mountain Biker, Tomas and his Family enjoy adventures in the mountains and desert in the remote locations that can only be reached by 4wd. Day hikes are always a must when on the family trips. While enjoying outdoor activities he wants to share his love as a certified 4wd trainer and ski instructor. Tomas also enjoys caving and cave exploration. Tomas currently resides in Colorado Springs.
