Snowy Christmas Tree Cutting

Thanks to mother nature we had a snowy trip to get our Christmas tree this year. We have made cutting our Christmas tree in Pike National Forest and annual event. Our Toyota FJ Cruiser has just made this more fun.

The FJ Loaded

With the FJ chained up with Rud Grip 4×4 chains we were able to head to road 351 for a fun adventure. Even though we don’t have any snow on the ground in Colorado Springs, we found over two feet in this area of Rampart Range.

A victorious LJ

Both LJ and the dogs had a great time playing in the snow. With the snow over the top of its head our new puppy Jett had a great time and turned into a little snow ball.

The trail ahead

With our tree cut and loaded it was time to sit back and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. Once soon it was time to head back up the road and back home to the springs for some tree trimming Cheer.

Tomas' father introduced him to the love of 4 wheeling at an early age in the high mountains around Aspen, Colorado. While an avid Mountain Biker, Tomas and his Family enjoy adventures in the mountains and desert in the remote locations that can only be reached by 4wd. Day hikes are always a must when on the family trips. While enjoying outdoor activities he wants to share his love as a certified 4wd trainer and ski instructor. Tomas also enjoys caving and cave exploration. Tomas currently resides in Colorado Springs.
