My sis and I have visited many of the southwest’s ruins and would love to go to Moon House. Alas, I fear that the trek in there is beyond us now so your wonderful photos give us a great view of what we are missing! Thank you!

I love this post. I am starting my own ‘Yota project Cruiser. Found a good deal on a new ’08 FJ, and am launching new adventures.
Later this year I am planning on a trip to the Salt Lake area to find the crash site of a cousin of mine, who went down in his airplane some years ago on an island in the Great Salt Lake. I would love to incorporate finding the Moon House Ruins as well. Without revealing the exact location (BLM desires respected) could you give me a starting point, perhaps the GPS of the parking spot, and a clue or two? I’ll do the research and exploration from there – virtual and otherwise.
