Roof Wire Routing

I spent a long time getting up the nerve to cut a hole in the roof of the FJ Cruiser. I wanted to be sure that when I crated my wiring path it would allow multiple wires and facilitate changes. For water proof accessories I look to the marine industry. In this case I looked for a deck fitting that would accommodate my needs. I located the
Blue Sea 1003 Cable Clam which provides for cable routing and accommodates antenna feed lines with the connectors in place. The connector has a rubber plug that you can drill multiple holes in and the slice the rubber to the hole so you can place the wire.

I have had this installed for about 6 months and I have had no problems.
