Using the ARB Simpson III Rooftop Tent makes setting up camp a snap, taking very little time and effort.

For me the following steps work well to get the tent ready to be used:
- Undo the 3 Velcro straps
- Unzip and pull the cover back
- Lift my rack to the correct height
- Undo the 2 Velcro straps that hold the tent closed
- Extend the ladder (this gives added leverage to open the tent)
- Pull on the ladder, open the tent and place the ladder on the ground so the two parts of the tent platform are level
- Pull the awning out
- Climb in the tent
- Extend the adjustable pole and tighten the knobs
- Remove the elastic straps inside the tent

- Tighten Awning Pole (I use my foot to push the awning tight and then tighten the knob)
- Install the poles to hold the window awnings out
- Install the poles to hold the fly up
- Install the Annex (if using)

Once your bedding is in place you are ready for a great night’s rest.

Is there a door on the side facing the trailer. That would be a great addition if not. That way you could access items in the trailer without having to go all the way around or without exiting the annex. I also have an M416 and cannon wait to install a RTT.
Got to have one.
