ARB Fridge Food Stowage

Having a single box that must fit all ones cold food in is a challenge. Being able to access items when needed makes it all the more difficult. I discovered a system that works great for me.

At Target I found a line of seal-able plastic containers called Snapware. A combination of sizes fills all the space in the ARB fridge with little left over. I use these containers to organize my food in the cooler. I fill smaller containers with liquid items such as hot sauce and relish. (I have found that glass containers have a tendency to break on ruff trails.) I have one container that I put pre-washed lettuce in. Another container hold meats and others get filled with other miscellaneous items. I use one large container on the bottom to hold frozen meats. The meats stay frozen for days with out being disturbed. Once these containers are placed in the cooled there is enough room left for 1 32 oz. aseptic packed milk.

Common items used for lunches are placed at the top of the cooler.

When I need items I may have to empty the cooler to get to the ones on the bottom, however this takes very little time and I know I can get every thing back in place in quickly.
